Balthazar Getty Replaced A Character From Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks will boast a reunion for actor Balthazar Getty and director David Lynch nearly 20 years after they made Lost Highway. 

Getty has been cast in a mysterious Twin Peaks role that could either be an entirely new character or a classic series favourite.

TV Line reports that at least one major character from the original Twin Peaks has been recast for the revival. 

In the years since he last worked with Lynch, Getty had recurring roles on Brothers & Sisters and Alias. 

Last week, news broke that Twin Peaks is adding Hollywood superstar Amanda Seyfried in a recurring capacity for season three.
