Meet Riddhi Dogra , As Aditi In Diya Aur Bati Hum

Riddhi Dogra (Hindi: रिद्धि डोगरा) is an Indian television actress popularly known for her role of Priya in Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak?.

     

Personal life 

Ridhi was born in New Delhi. She is also a dancer and has worked as a co-producer on Zoom. 

Her elder brother Akshay Dogra is also an actor who played Aakash in the daily soap Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. Ridhi Dogra is married to Raqesh Vashisth who was her co-star from Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak?. 

They initially worked together and then started dating on the sets of Maryada where they were paired as reel life husband and wife. 

They got engaged on 3 March 2011 and tied the knot on 29th May 2012 in Pune. They were also seen together in Nach Baliye 6. 

Career

Before she entered the television industry Dogra was a dancer in the Shiamak Dawar Dance Institute. Her first job in the industry was as a co-producer on Zoom. She entered the acting world with Zee TV's show Jhoome Jiiya Re. 

She was seen in Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors TV, Hindi Hai Hum on Real TV and Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg on Colors. 

Ridhi has also appeared in Javed Ali's video song Thare Khatir where she was casted with her husband Raqesh Vashisth. 

She became popular after playing the lead role of Priya Aditya Jakhar in Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? opposite Raqesh Vashisth on STAR Plus. 

She got highly appreciated by the viewers for her role as PriyaPradhan Jakhar in Maryada : Lekin Kab Tak?. She has also hosted independence special show Azaadi for Life OK in 2012.

She has also appeared in many more serials like Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors TV, Horror Nights, Life OK's Savitri and Nach Baliye. She was recently seen in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (season 6)
